Painter Ruth Chase traces the history of Venice, California through the life stories of people who grew up in the neighborhood, presented through painted portraiture, audio interviews conducted by Chase, and accompanying biographical texts written by Gena Lasko and transcribed by Denise Woods. This section features 12 completed portraits and one additional painting with audio from the West of Lincoln Project installation.
