Unbroken: Nothing is broken. Everything is evolving.

In a world where absolutes and the relentless pursuit of perfection often leave people feeling inherently broken, this series explores what it means to let go of rigid identities and embrace the ongoing process instead. New pieces—paintings and videos—will appear here as they’re made, and you can follow updates on social media.

I’m actively looking for a venue to exhibit the full body of work later this year or in 2027.

Drifter
acrylic on canvas
18 x 24

A meditation on becoming honoring the in-between as whole, carrying past and future simultaneously.

Alice Do You Hear Us
acrylic on canvas
36 x 24

Drawn from an 18th-century family photograph. The piece asks whether generations separated by centuries share similar fears, hopes, and questions.
Unbreakable Light from 2025
A transition painting into the 2026 body of work.

The figures embody endurance across generations, proposing that what feels like cultural fracture may instead be part of a longer arc of becoming. Light becomes a symbol of inherited resilience

Can I Get A Witness
acrylic on canvas
36 × 36

Inspired by the Lao Tzu quote, “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be,” this painting explores surrender as transformation. Releasing rigid identity creates space for becoming. It echoes my broader inquiry: perhaps growth begins when we loosen our grip on fixed narratives about who we are, allowing something truer to surface.
Mary Mary Quite Contrary
acrylic on canvas
36 × 30

Referencing the nursery rhyme, a commentary on control, conformity, or rebellion. She witnesses the world around her—the challenges, the turbulence—but these do not dictate her choices; instead, they reinforce her awareness that she is not broken, but strengthened by life’s trials.
