“I Surrender”

acrylic on canvas, 48 × 48″, 2015

This was the third painting out of eleven individual portraits from the West of Lincoln Project, completed as a collaboration with Meta over the course of several months in 2015. Meta’s biography was written by Gena Lasko, taken from an interview Ruth recorded and will be exhibited at Venice Arts in August, 2017. A portion of the interview is available to listen to below.
